We want you to love your Son of Edmond purchase
Every Son of Edmond product is handcrafted with care in our Yorkshire workshop. We take great pride in the quality of our work and are confident you'll love your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out, so we offer a straightforward returns policy.
Before You Return
Because each cover is handcrafted, there may be very slight variations in colour, texture, or stitching - this is a hallmark of a handmade product, not a defect. Waxed cotton naturally develops a unique patina over time, which is part of its character and charm.
If you're unsure whether your item is faulty or simply has the natural characteristics of handcrafted waxed cotton, please email us at sales@sonofedmond.co.uk with a photo before initiating a return. We're happy to help and can often resolve any concerns without the need for a return.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item meets all of the following conditions:
- The item is unused and in its original condition - no signs of wear, scuffs, or marks
- The item is in its original packaging, undamaged
- You have your proof of purchase (order confirmation email)
Items that have been used on the course, personalised, or purchased as part of a sale or promotional offer are not eligible for return.
How to Return
1. Email us at sales@sonofedmond.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
2. We'll review your request and, if approved, provide you with a return address and instructions.
3. Package the item securely in its original packaging and post it back to us using a tracked delivery service. Return postage is at the customer's expense and we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund within 5 working days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Refunds
Refunds are processed to the original payment method only. Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to appear in your account after we have received and inspected the returned item.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If the item is returned in a condition that does not meet our return criteria (used, damaged, missing packaging), we reserve the right to decline the return and send the item back to you.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product or colour, please return the original item following the process above and place a new order. This ensures the fastest turnaround as we can dispatch your new item immediately rather than waiting for the return to arrive.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or has a genuine manufacturing fault, please email us at sales@sonofedmond.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
Please note that the natural characteristics of waxed cotton and handcrafted products (minor colour variations, texture differences, slight stitching variations) are not considered faults.
